Dear Friends,It seems as if I have just come out of a long and deep sleep on Myspace but the truth is the support you have all given me has drowned me with work worldwide and I have just surfaced above water long enough to get some air.
With that said, I have some new news!
First of all, for those who attended my 2007 Xperience tour, thank you so much. The tour began late January and ended in May. We performed in over 30 cities and sold out all 40 shows during the tour. It was quite the experience for me to travel from city to city and to create magic for all of you. Domo Arigatou.
Soon as the tour was finished, I wasted no time as I started planning my 12th television special which will air this coming Tuesday in Japan. That's right... you heard me right... MY NEXT SPECIAL AIRS JULY 24 ON FUJI TV (Channel 8) FROM 7-9PM.
In my next special, there will be a segment which highlights my 2006 "Magician of the Year" award I received during the tour (April 7, 2007).
OH, I forgot to tell you about that too. During my tour, I flew to LA to attend the AMA Awards evening banquet in Beverly Hills California. AMA stands for "The Academy of Magical Arts" and they nominated earlier last year to be selected as the 2006 Magician of the Year. Earlier this year, I was officially informed to titled "Magician of Year" and so I decided to take my film crew to LA with me to cover the story.
While in LA, I decided to go back to my roots in magic and to film some magic in LA so you can look forward to seeing me doing some magic on the streets of LA!
Getting back to the story, as I finished my tour, I wasted no time and started to fly back and forth to LA to film parts of my special meanwhile while we filmed in Japan, we battled terrible rainy season weather filming outdoors in Tokyo. When you watch my special and notice me having a bad hair day, just know it was raining moments before! We stole every clear sky moments as possible during our shoots but the my hair just lost to humidity! lol :-0
One last news for now. I got my first part in a Hollywood film! That's right! OK... OK, dont get too excited. My part is very very small but I am going to be in a Hollywood film written and directed by David Mamet! The movie is called "Redbelt" and wont be out until next year so you will all have to wait. I'm not sure how much I am allowed to talk about so I'll leave it at that for now.
