kill you是eminem的一首描写杀死女友的可怕故事.
而stan就是两人歌曲的合作.间奏取自dido的thank you.说唱部分则由eminem负责,stan取材于一个真实的故事,崇拜eminem的歌迷效仿kill you歌词的故事,把怀孕的女朋友放在旅行箱中,开卡车自杀的故事.其中,前三段eminem模仿stan(歌迷的名字)的语气叙述故事以及三封信的内容,浮躁,醉酒全能感觉出来,最后又用自己的语气来回信.但信还没有寄出,却在电视上看到了stan撞桥身亡,而旅行箱中还有其怀孕的女友的消息.
stan中dido唱的部分在第一段时加大了雷雨声,很能表现这个故事的意境.
